‘Space Pirates’? Navigating Criminal Jurisdiction in Outer Space
If someone stabs you in space, can they go to jail? There's a risk the "crime" will fall through an international law gap where no one is quite sure which State has jurisdiction. In this article for The American Bar Association's SciTech Law Magazine, Duncan Blake, Michelle Chase and I argue lawyers need to take seriously the issue of outer space criminal jurisdiction.
